Yes, candidates with less than 50 per cent in aggregate in graduation are eligible for admission to PGDM courses in XLRI. Candidates need to have minimum passing marks in Graduation. They must have however, completed their graduation from a recognised university only. Candidates planning to seek admission to an MBA college other than XLRI must check its eligibility criteria as the minimum score requirement of AICTE approved colleges is 50 percent (45 percent for Reserved categories). If both your interview rounds at XISS, Ranchi went really well, then you can surely expect getting selected for its PGDM program.

Dear Vivek, I understand your perspective. The courses you have done will certainly add to your academic diversity, but from your final term you need to score minimum 55% so that you are eligible to sit for the entrance exam followed by GD/PI. As such, there is no advantage, besides being there for your knowledge, it will simply give you the foundation & boost your experience to push yourself in the next level.
