Tough is just a relative term. There is nothing called tougher to crack or easy to crack. This view depends upon the preparation of the exam you are giving. There are a number of exams conducted in India for the MBA type courses. Exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, IBSAT, NMAT, SNAP, etc. have some minor tweaking and variations apart from the main sections. Each of these exams has a quantitative aptitude, verbal reasoning, logical reasoning and data interpretation, apart from GK or essay writing section in some of the exams. So, you have to prepare accordingly for these exams either by taking coaching classes or correspondence course or b

Many online coaching platforms available for XAT coaching. Are they enough- depends on candidates' seriousness and discipline. If a candidate regularly and timely follows the provided material, it is sufficient. Also makes sense in case a person is working or has less time or want to reduce on travelling time.
Below are few good platforms for preparation: - Career Launcher
3- Pathfinder Education Services
4- TCYonline.com
5- Test Funda
6- MBA universe.com
7- WizIQ Courses

First, decide yourself what you want to do MBA or job, because if you are planning for a good college then I would rather suggest you to study for CAT exam with complete dedication of taking admission this year. CAT needs a lot of practice and study to get admission in good colleges. If you waste time in deciding these confusions you will not able to give CAT exam at good stage. So I would suggest start preparing for CAT entrance exam with complete dedication and Self-motivation. Then if you get a very good score go for TOP MBA colleges to complete your goal and if unfortunately you couldn't able to crack CAT exam then you can go for a

Hello,
Unfortunately, the answer to this question is "yes".
CAT preparation won't be sufficient enough for XAT and the same holds true if you are preparing for XAT.
This is because the intention to check on the areas are very different in both the exams.
XAT questions are on difficult side whereas CAT questions are easy to moderate level. Also, XAT has General Knowledge section and Decision making sections that are not covered in CAT syllabus.
Thus perpetration for one exam doesn't assure you are ready for other. But yes, the preparation of CAT will ensure a smooth road for XAT preparation and it would be easier.

Hi, there's no formula to avoid common mistakes in any exam. But these points might help you stay calm during the exam.
It is important that you practice lot of mocks and papers before the main exam. This will give you confidence and sense of familiarity during the paper.
Practicing will also give you the mistakes that you keep committing every now and then. Commit as many mistakes as you can in first few mocks. More you practice, sooner will you run out of common mistakes to commit.
Dont stress out. If you feel the paper is way too tough or way too easy for what youve practiced, dont worry about it. The general trend will be the same an

Yes, you are eligible as the college considers the XAT and CMAT scores as well, the latter gives you a better opportunity to fetch a decent score as the level of difficulty is often on the lower side as compared to the former and CAT.

Simple but not easy!
In XAT like MAT, there are different sections- Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Verbal and Reading Comprehension and GK.
Maths:
Students from non-engineering backgrounds are not too comfortable in QA. If you are not an engineering student then you must focus in this section to improve your score, which will impact overall MAT percentile.
The most important topics being - Logarithm, Algebra, Geometry, Permutation and Combination and Probability.
LR/DI:
Again a section where high-scoring can be done as this is comparatively easier than the others. You should focus on Data Sufficiency,
