XAT can help you to get into XLRI. It is one of the top management institutes in India. MAT and even if you can be in top 10 ranks in India, you can get into JBIMS – Mumbai. It is pretty easy to score in MAT, but difficult to be in top ranks. XAT with a 95% percentile and a good profile can get you a call from XLRI.

1. Arun Sharma is best for Quant./Verbal/DI-LR.
2. Pearson Guide To Verbal Ability And Logical Reasoning
3. For decision making you can refer previous year papers. Also there are various websites having numerous questions on decision making like GP Ka funda.

There isn't a specific criteria, because you get a call on the basis of your profile. There is a psychometric test followed by gdpi and accordingly you will convert it based on the preference with Core specializations having tougher competition. Hope you got my point, all the best :)

It is good to clear XAT with good score. You will have the chance to get into top b-schools like:
1. XLRI.
2. XIMB.

There is no management Quota seats in IPE. Only through CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT Exams
