XAT

Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes. Apart from XLRI and 10 other XAMI member colleges, over 1,000 B-schools accept XAT scores for admission to their post-graduate management programmes.XAT is among the accepted exams for admission to MBA programs at Adani University. As per the MBA Programmes Admission Policy (Batch 2023-25), candidates who have taken CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, or ATMA tests, including the 2021-22 & 2022-23 scores, are eligible to apply. However, applicants will also undergo a personal interview round as part of the selection process. The XAT 2024 is taken for MBA / PGDM admissions offered by some of the prestigious institutes of the nation. Apart from XLRI and 10 other XAMI members, 600+ B-schools accept XAT scores for admission to their post-graduate management programmes. Every year around 90,000 to 1 Lacs candidates appear for the XAT exam.While in XAT the Dcision Making and Data Interpretation sections are tough, in CAT Reading Comprehension and Quantitative Aptitude sections are tough. But there is no debate over the fact that CAT and XAT are the two of the most the toughest MBA entrance exams in India.
