XLRI - Xavier School of Management provides various PGDM courses to students across Business Management and various other streams. XLRI admission to PGDM BM and HRM is based on XAT scores. Candiadtes seeking admission to XLRI Jamshedpur must meet both the overall and sectional cutoffs in order to be eligible for further PI round. During XLRI 2024 admission, the XAT 2024 cut off for PGDM BM for male candidates was 96 percentile and for female candidates was 91 percentile. For PGDM HRM, the XAT cut off for male candidates was 95 percentile and for female candidates, it was 90 percentile. Therefore, considering the preious years' cutoff, the lowest percetile to get into XLRI for BM and HRM courses ranges between 90 and 96 percetile for the students belonging to the General AI quota. 

XAT 2025 will be held on the first Sunday of January 2025, which is January 5. The exam date was officially announced by XLRI Jamshedpur on July 15, 2024. The announcement was made at the XATONLINE website. The exam will be held in 72 cities from 2 pm to 5:30 pm. The registration process will go on until the first week of December 2024. Candidates will be required to fill the online application form before the deadline to be eligible to appear for XAT 2025. Online application submission only XAT fee is INR 2,200 for all candidates Fee to be submitted at the time of application form submission Graduation degree must for filling the XAT form (final year candidates can also apply).  

There is no set time limit to prepare for the XAT exam, but you need a minimum of six months for preparation. Ideally, candidates need to start XAT preparation by April, however, if they start by June or July too, they can complete the syllabus within time and have ample time for practice of sample papers and mock tests. Candidates aiming to clear XAT must dedicate nearly 6 months to effectively enhance their exam preparation and qualify with 95 percentile or higher. Ideally, XAT preparation takes six to nine months, but if candidates have prepared for CAT too, XAT preparation can be done in less time as one will have to only work on Decision Making and General Knowledge topics. Those who are weak in English Comprehension must start reading practice early on.
