You can get admission at Xavier Institute of Management and Research (XIMR), Mumbai, to pursue MBA/PGDM on the basis of passing the eligibility criteria which is:  Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree (10+2+3/4) from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. Admission is given on the basis of scores in XAT-Xavier Aptitude Test, CAT, and CMAT.After that Candidates with a valid score need to apply through the official website of XIMR, and fill up an application form with other relevant documents to be submitted. Shortlisted candidates are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The Xavier Institute of Management and Research has really good placements. The placement rate there is about 90% officially. The top recruiting companies are as follows : HDFC bank, HDFC Ltd, Lynk, Decinal point, Kantar group, Reliance, ipsos.Most students at the institute get good placement packages.

The MAT result date, thus, is usually dependent on the particular session of the test one has appeared for since MAT is held multiple times in a year: February, May, September, and December. XIMR considers MAT scores, generally for its MBA programs, and with a proclaimed result date by the conducting body AIMA, All India Management Association. Results are usually declared a few weeks after the date of the entrance test. For proper information on result dates, candidates can visit the official MAT website or the page on admissions at XIMR regularly.
