What specialization would you want to know the maximum package for? The numbers are different for Marketing, Finance and HR, so I can guide you better if you can tell me what specialization you want to opt for. Your CMAT score definitely has a chance of admission. For entry through the DTE, you have to fill a form available on the DTE's website. Just go to the DTE Maharashtra website and click on MBA/MMS, and you will get access to the form. I suggest you fill it soon as the deadline for form completion is fast approaching.

The CMAT score should be a bit higher that what you have scored. However, that does not mean you can't get through to admissions. Try calling the college after a month or so to check the possibility. The CET cut off is around 96 percentile. Have you registered for MH CET? If not, do so fast. The deadline is approaching.

The MMS program that Xavier's offers is provided through the Mumbai University. The seats are allotted by the Maharashtra Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). To be eligible for this allotment, you have to write the MH-CET exam (the common entrance test for the state of Maharashtra). Once you write that exam (which usually happens in February or March) and the results are out, the DTE asks your preference, as in which college do you prefer being admitted in. You are then allotted a college based on your marks and preference. At Xavier's, the cut-off is around 95 percentile

XIMR does not offer a PGDM. It offers an MMS (Master in Management Studies) degree. The MMS degree is actually provided by the Mumbai University through Xavier's. The college prefers MH-CET scores and the general cut-off for that is around 95 percentile.
A small helpful information - only universities can provide you with a Master's degree in management. Everyone else, including IIMs, provide a PGDM. But, all in all, the two courses are virtually the same.
Hope that was helpful.

There is indeed a chance, but just a slight chance. You would have to personally talk to the college authorities. Admissions won't start until after MH-CET MMS/MBA 2016 results are out later in 2016. Admission would probably start only after April 2016 or so. So I would recommend you prepare for the Maharashtra CET 2016 exam as well. XIMR prefers MH-CET candidates as it is affiliated to the Mumbai University.
