Xaviers College conducts an entrance exam for BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) which consists of multiple choice questions. The exam is conducted for a total of 100 marks, where each question carries one mark. Candidates must note that there is no negative marking for wrong answers and also for questions left unanswered by the candidate. This provides a fair and equal opportunity for all candidates to attempt all the questions without fear of losing marks for wrong or unanswered questions.

St. Xavier's College will release the Xavier's Entrance Exam (XET) results in the form of a merit list on their official website.Candidates will be able to download their scorecards by entering their application number. Xaviers College will not display the XET scores in an offline mode.The final merit list will be prepared after the interview-cum-written test round, with 70 per cent weightage given to the interview-cum-written test score and 30 per cent weightage to the entrance test score.

The admission to the BMS course in Xaviers College is based on merit of the candidate in the entrance test. Xaviers’ College releases merit lists to shortlist candidates for admission. These lists comprise the names of the selected candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have secured the required percentage in their qualifying exams.However, in case the seats remain vacant after the release of the first two merit lists, the institute might release an additional merit list for BMS admission. St Xavier's College releases the first merit list with the scores of the candidates within 10 days of the exam date. In the previous session, Xaviers' College conducted the exam from June 7 to 11. Scores of the candidates is released in a PDF format with a week of the exam date. The first merit list with XET scores and admission details was published on June 19. Similar trend is followed every year for publish of XET scores and merit list for admissions.

St. Xavier's College releases the BMS entrance results on its official website. Candidates who took the XET exam are able to check the scores mentioned in a PDF file on the Xavier's College admission portal. Soon after the scores are released, candidates will get to check the Xaviers BMS merit list for amdission. The results are facilitated online, no other mode is provided by Xaviers' college for candidates to check the XET scores and merit list for admission.
