No, it's not expensive. Comparing it with IIM Ranchi, including the tuition fees, one time payment, hostel fees and other fees for MBA/PGDM courses the total sums upto INR 17.5 Lacs for 2 years whereas for Xavier University Bhubaneswar, the tuition fees is INR 12.2 Lacs, one time payment is INR 20,000, hostel fees is INR 90,0000 and other fees ranges upto INR 80,000 which sums upto merely 14.1 Lacs INR which is comparatively lower than other colleges and not just IIM Ranchi. The eligibility criteria for MBA programme includes a Undergraduate degree with 50% aggregate. The accepting exams are XAT, CAT, NMAT, OJEE and X-GMT. The total fees is INR 12.2 lacs for tuition whereas the median salary is around INR 17.1 LPA.

For MBA/PGDM admission, the eligibility criteria is Undergraduate degree with 50% aggregate along with exams acceptance of XAT, CAT, NMAT, OJEE and X-GMT. The total tuition fees for MBA/PGDM course is INR 12.2 Lacs for 2 years duration with hostel fees of INR 90,000 for 2 years. The one time payment is INR 20,000 while other miscellaneous fees is INR 80,000. The total fees is INR 14.1 Lacs.

For MBA/PGDM, the exams you need to attempt for acceptance includes NMAT, OJEE, X-GMT, CAT and XAT. The 2023 score cutoff for NMAT was 140. For admission in MBA course in Xavier Institute of Human Settlements, the eligibility is undergraduate degree with 50% aggregate along with the accepting exams and score that follows along with the cutoff.

Xavier Institute XIM Bhubaneswar has been ranked 6th in India by the Outlook I Care University Ranking, top 43rd Management institute of the country in the management category by NIRF Ranking 2024, 8th in India by India Today MDRA Best University survey 2024. IIM Ranchi has showed significant rise in the placements by over 8% in MBA placements compared to 2023. The average package which was offered in 2024 placements was INR 18.69 LPA whereas the placements in XIMB MBA in 2024 were given the offer of an avaerage package of INR 19.53 LPA.
