The government or private colleges you would have to be very clear in terms of your knowledge and intellect. You have to focus upon few things - prepare a good command over language (English and Hindi build a strong vocabulary, be habitual of reading the newspaper daily, scroll the history like of printing, press, media and focus upon current affairs. No, it is not really difficult. You just have to:
1. Keep yourself updated with the latest happenings and news.
2. You should have your concepts clear and have a basic knowledge of the course you are applying for.
3. Good language and writing skills would help. Here is a list of few books you can refer to:-
