You need to have M.A in Yoga or Acharya/M.A or its equivalent degree and one year Diploma in Yoga/ PG Diploma in Yoga from a recognised University/ Institute with a minimum 55% marks.

For making the career in the field of lectureship and professorship and teacher various examination such as UGC NET Exam, CSIR NET, State level Exam such as SET is organized. If you have completed the Masters in any subject related to the Arts, Commerce and Management you can prepare for the NET exam. If you have completed the Masters in the Yoga.You can make career in the lectureship and professorship by doing masters with around 50 to 55%.

There is no age criteria for PGDY Admissions and Eligibility:
To be eligible for admission to the course, the candidates shall have passed any Bachelor's Degree of any discipline plus Yoga Instructor's Course (YIC). The candidates shall have secured a minimum of 50% of marks.
