Recently IGNOU launched their new Masters programme MSCPH which is Master of Science (physics) and the eligibility criteria for doing this PG programme the qualification required as per their site is follows:• Graduates with Major/Honours in Physics• Graduates with a B.Sc. Degree (including IGNOU B.Sc. Programme under CBCS) with Physics and Mathematics• Graduates with a B.Sc. Degree of IGNOU or any recognised Open University with a minimum of 32 Credits of Physics, and Mathematics as one of the subjects.

As per UOL Ph.D. eligibility criteria, All candidates who have applied will be allowed to appear in the research entrance test. So the research entrance test RET of UOL is mandatory and followed by an interview. Minimum 50% marks in RET is another requirement for admission.
