Admission to the B.Sc Zoology programme requires a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (high school level) Science from any recognised board. Students should have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in there 10+2 grade. Students must meet certain criteria and clear the cutoff for entrance examinations such as BHU UET, MCAER CET, and so on in order to be admitted to this degree. There is no upper age limit for taking this course.

Yes, definitly  you are eligible to appear for the IIT JAM exam if you are a 5th semester student with Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry as your subjects. The IIT JAM eligibility criteria for the Chemistry stream requires the candidate to have a Bachelor's degree in any Science discipline with Chemistry as one of the subjects. The Chemistry subject should be for at least three years/six semesters.But make sure that the IIT JAM exam is a competitive exam and you need to prepare well to score well. You can start by studying the IIT JAM syllabus and solving practice questions.
