Hi, I know you must be very excited and enthusiastic after knowning all and the outs and abouts of the DBU, Assam. I would like to summarize and give you the most appreciated experiences of the seniors who have had their time spent at the University. here are some factors which will help you with a perspective to get started with the DBU, Assam. 1)You will get to notice a lot of Diversity and inclusiveness, there will be a lot of things at DBU that you can learn from and always will have to space to explore more. with more time passed you will feel like not leaving the space, your friends and the climate.2) Do not engage with the lot of friends since the start of your classes/ programme. try to get to know everyone very well and develop a good habit of keeping studies yoyr first priority. and try to join in with seniors and teachers at the events and fests.3)Get as much involved as you can in the seminars, lectures, events, awareness programmes, practicals, etc. and maintain your own daily schedule. do not forget to give time to your own hobbies and crafts too with studies.4) I will suggest to aspire to be the topper, but not get demotivated, if you do not achieve that, have a healthy relationship with your mental health, physical health and social health, all of the studies that you do is for contributing to the society first and being topper does not affect that, so, focus on your best skill and develop it like no one can compete with you.5) Last, but not the least, enjoy your college life, make memories, friends, have fun, because everyone will get on their own way after the completion of the course and you will also get busy with your own life.

The eligibility for BCA is 50% in +2 and there is no requirement that you have studied mathematics at +2 level. But in BCA mathematics would be floated but no need to worry because LPU believes in imparting quality education and for that the pedagogy is decided in such a way that tougher subject gets easier one. Faculty puts lot of efforts to make the concept understandable and then re-work on the application part.
