The total tuition fee for AIIMS Bathinda Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is INR 7,326 ( excluding hostel fee and other charges) and almost similar fee is for the other courses, provided by the college. To get admitted to AIIMS Bathinda, applicants must meet the entry requirements - 50% in 12th minimum with the required NEET ranking.

Their reputation lies in producing highly skilled medical professionals.However, in AIIMS, Deoghar, 125 students were placed in the 2023 batch. The same package is for every student after passing the course. Every student gets an internship from the college. After completing a 5.5-year MBBS, they can join any government hospital as a doctor. It is one of the four AIIMSs announced by the Ministry of Healthcare and Family Welfare (MHFW), Government of India. Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital is a premier Institute. It is located in Himachal Pradesh. The fee at AIIMS, Bathinda is INR 7,326 for the whole MBBS program of 66 months, while Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital charges INR 2.66 Lakhs for 66 months of the MBBS course. Both the universities are approved by NMC. AIIMS, Bathinda offers 100 seats for MBBS, while Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital offers 120 seats for MBBS.
