If you have completed your Diploma from AMU then yes you can directly start from 2nd year and it does not matter whether you do from AMU or any other. You have to qualify the engineering entrance test of AMU.

Yes, it is necessary to qualify NEET independent of the fact that whether the candidate is internal or external.
For internals, the cut-off is: approx. 550-575
For externals, the cut-off is: more than 600
Maximum marks: 720

aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.

have passed Biology at the qualifying examination.
