The cutoff for Amrita School of Engineering depends on several factors, including the campus, programme chosen, and admission criteria used (JEE Main, KEAM, AEEE). Therefore, there isn't a single place to check all cutoffs at once. Here's how to find the relevant cutoff for your situation:1. Identify the campus and program:First, determine which Amrita School of Engineering campus you're interested in (e.g., Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Chennai). Then, choose the specific B.Tech programme you're targeting (e.g., Computer Science, Electronics and Communication).2. Determine the relevant admission criteria:There are three main ways to get admission into Amrita B.Tech programs: JEE Main: If you used JEE Main for admission, check the closing ranks for your desired programme in the previous year's JoSAA counseling rounds. You can find this information on the JoSAA websiteKEAM: If you're applying from Kerala, the cutoff will be based on your KEAM rank. Look for the last rank admitted for your chosen programme in the previous year's KEAM counseling rounds. The KEAM official website will have this information:AEEE: If you applied through the Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE), check the cutoff marks or ranks released by Amrita University for the previous year on their admissions website

You must have secured a minimum aggregate score of 60% or CGPA 6.0 in your qualifying degree (B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Sc.) in Engineering or a relevant Science discipline from a recognised university. Most M.Tech programs rely on scores in national entrance exams like GATE, TANCET, PGCET, or PGECET for selection. Each programme has its own cut-off scores for these exams, which can vary from year to year depending on the number of applicants and available seats.Meeting the minimum cut-off doesn't guarantee admission, as other factors like entrance exam rank and academic performance may also be considered

I think there are a few PGs available near Amritapuri Campus within 2-6kms. But almost every student prefer to be in hostels as they provide a different vibe as comapred to. Eventhough the food that they provide in hostel as well as in college is strictly well, we can adjust upto it. In my opinion, being a hosteler will be a good decision. But it is to very much a personal opinion. There are good as well as few PGs out there. If you are a 1st year student, you can enjoy the hostel situated in ashram side itself rather than in the main boys hostel. But soon after the 1st year, you can move to the main hostel where there will be all the senior students. They did it this way just to make sure that there is no ragging for 1st year students in hostel. So, that there will be no ragging in Amrita University.
