The college is good, but the infrastructure and campus life are not up to the mark. One of the top in Kochi is ASAS Kochi in terms of academic performance, faculty, placements, seminars, and extracurricular activities. Every year, more than 113 firms come to this location, and students form incredibly strong bonds. But there the hostel's amenities are inadequate, and it lacks teams or clubs for extracurricular activities like sports.

It is a decision. The MAT is one of several management exams accepted at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham - Kochi Campus. Aside from the MAT, CAT, GMAT, CMAT, and XAT scores are also accepted for MBA admission. However, it is obvious that you must take at least one of these management exams in order to be eligible for an MBA at ASAS Kochi.

If you're planning to join ASAS college realise that you neither have a future nor you have a fun present. Never expect a good campus with opportunities to show your potential. Its all about the brand value. To those students who are planning to g get a BSc degree in any of the course available, both ASAS and UCMS are great options in terms of academic experience, hostel facility, infrastructure and all other parameters. UCMS is located in the heart of India, Delhi. You can have a great college experience there, along with the academics as they organise annual cultural fests and other curricular activities are also a part of their annual calender. The campus premises are overall small and students are congested in classrooms that were previously hostel rooms. Talking about the hostels in ASAS Kochi, they force you to follow a religion you don't even follow, the students get yelled at on a daily basis for not attending the bhajanas and prayers that happens twice a day taking up 1/4th of their time to study and this applies to all students despite their religion. Campus food and canteen was once closed due to food poisoning by the health department, but due to their influence in politics and hand in business they still got back the campus.ASAS might be having a great background in academics, but you might not be able to enjoy your college life there because of such strict rules and regulations. Students there are not supposed to wear casuals, and everyone has to wear uniform. Mobile phones or any other electronic items are not allowed inside the campus. Infact, one cannot use their mobile phones in the hostel as well. One has to take permission in order to go out of the campus or the hostel even for basic things. So, if you get a chance to option for UCMS, go for that. I suggest you guys to get admission in UcCMS rather than ASAS.

I think there are a few PGs available near Amritapuri Campus within 2-6kms. But almost every student prefer to be in hostels as they provide a different vibe as comapred to. Eventhough the food that they provide in hostel as well as in college is strictly well, we can adjust upto it. In my opinion, being a hosteler will be a good decision. But it is to very much a personal opinion. There are good as well as few PGs out there. If you are a 1st year student, you can enjoy the hostel situated in ashram side itself rather than in the main boys hostel. But soon after the 1st year, you can move to the main hostel where there will be all the senior students. They did it this way just to make sure that there is no ragging for 1st year students in hostel. So, that there will be no ragging in Amrita University.

Yes, at ASAS Kochi, B.Sc. in Nursing has a higher placement rate than B.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy. According to the college's 2022-23 placement report, 90% of B.Sc. in Nursing graduates were put in various hospitals and healthcare organizations, while 75% of B.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy graduates were placed. There are a few reasons why B.Sc. in Nursing has a better placement rate than B.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy. In the healthcare business, nurses are in more demand than respiratory therapists. This is due to nurses' broader skill set and ability to handle a number of duties such as medicine administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring. Respiratory therapists, on the other hand, are trained to treat respiratory disorders such as asthma and cystic fibrosis.Job forecast: Over the next decade, the job outlook for nurses is expected to expand substantially faster than the national average. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of registered nurses will increase by 9% between 2020 and 2030, substantially faster than the average for all occupations. Respiratory therapist employment, on the other hand, is expected to expand at a rate similar to the national average from 2020 to 2030.

It is impossible to tell absolutely whether ASAS Kochi provides better placements than the University of UCMS Delhi, considering both universities have strong placement records. However, based on the available statistics, ASAS Kochi appears to have a somewhat higher placement rate.According to placement data for the academic year 2022-23, ASAS Kochi had a 92% overall placement rate, while University of UCMS Delhi had a 90% overall placement rate. Furthermore, the average pay package for ASAS Kochi graduates was INR 7.2 Lacs per year, whereas the average salary package for University of UCMS Delhi graduates was INR 6.8 Lacs per year.It is crucial to remember that depending on the degree of study, placement rates and wage packages might differ. At ASAS Kochi, for example, the placement rate for engineering graduates is greater than the placement rate for nursing graduates. Similarly, at the University of UCMS Delhi, the wage package for MBA graduates is greater than the salary package for nursing graduates. When selecting a college, consider criteria such as the placement rate for the course of study you are interested in, the average income package for graduates, and the college's reputation for placements. Other considerations to consider include the educational quality, infrastructure, and campus life.
