Yes, there are two exams conducted for the admission in Andhra University. The first exam is Andhra University Common Entrance Test AUCET is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. This exam is conducted to provide admission to candidates in postgraduate courses offered under the streams of Science, Commerce, Humanities, Management, Teaching, and Mass Communication. The second exam is Andhra University Engineering Entrance Examination AUEET is also conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. It is a state level admission test for admission in various engineering programmes available in Andhra University. The counselling in Andhra University is started from May 29, 2019. Candidates should note that qualifying in NATA 2019 does not constitute a right/ guarantee to candidates for his/her admission to any architecture course unless he/she has fulfilled all the prescribed requirements as specified by respective counselling and admission authorities. For admission to B.Arch courses, aspirants should comply with the following:
*Have cleared a recognized aptitude test in Architecture NATA or equivalent) in 2019 or qualified in NATA 2018
*Have gone through any of the following curriculum with marks as prescribed below:
*Secured 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as the subjects
*10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State government with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics
*International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing, after 10 years of Schooling with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination
*No direct lateral admission is allowed at any other year/stage of B.Arch. Course based on any qualification.
