Chances of candidates to get into Anna University for a BSc programme with 70% in Class 12 depends on several factors such as, Anna University is affiliated with more than 500 colleges and several of the AU-affiliated colleges offer BSc programmes. So, firstly candidates have to decide in which college and which BSc specialisation they want to choose. The basic eligibility criteria that candidates must qualify to get admission to BSc at AU, is they have completed Class 12 with qualifying scores. The university will release the merit list according to the candidates' scores. Shortlisted students have to appear for TANCET counselling. Anna University sets cutoffs for each BSc programme based on the number of applicants and available seats. These cutoffs vary from year to year and depend on the programme's popularity and competitiveness. While a 70% in class 12th is good it might not guarantee admission.Admission to Anna University also considers reservation categories like SC, ST, OBC, etc. If prospective candidates belong to any of these categories their chances of admission might increase.Remember a 70% in class 12th is a good score but it's not the only factor that determines your chances of getting into Anna University. Make sure you research the specific programme you're interested in check the eligibility criteria and cutoffs and consider any additional factors that might be relevant.
