Scope can be categorised in several ways. So, I am writing in two major sections so that one can use it as per the broad interest.
Employability:
Pharmacy gives better employability as compared to biotech, biochem or microbio. The reason is the huge pharma industry. B.Pharma. Itself give you an okay job while M.Pharma. May give you a reasonably decent job. Pharma sector includes several fields of work from research, development and manufacturing to sales and distribution. All these fields require huge number of manpower. So pharma sector wins this employability criteria. Although most of the jobs are in private sector but quantum is huge too. Other three fields also give private sector jobs but in India such field for life sciences is still growing. Masters in life sciences rarely brings a good job opportunity. Research/Academia
Pharma research is not well developed in India as compared to life sciences. Research requires post M.Sc. Work and biotech, biochem and microbio are similar in this aspect. The reason is that most of the research institutions in our country give equal preference for M.Sc. Biotech, biochem, and microbio or other life sciences students while selecting them for Ph.D. or a project work. So if one wants to do research, he/she should opt for either of these three fields in Masters. Academics require publication. All these fields are publication friendly. All these fields can be a good platform for becoming an academician. Though lack of research and more opportunity in private sector in pharma, makes pharma more job oriented and less academia-oriented field here. While other three are more academia oriented because of well-developed research infrastructure and low private sector opportunity. *Finally, choose whatever you like. Recognise your passion. You cannot spend your life doing the work you don't like. Some people want money first so may opt for pharma, some people want to do research so may opt for other three fields. Ultimately, it's your choice what you want to see yourself in the future.

Hello Aparna,
Your cut-off is not bad to get a seat for aeronautical engineering at MIT. But the competition is too high and so it is difficult to predict the chances. Try your best at the counselling. You can compare the previous year cut-off

You can get a seat in Alagappa College of Engineering. You may stick to courses like apparel, leather, ceramics, etc., or you can go for evergreen courses in other colleges.
