But unfortunately, majority of states in India restrict admissions to domiciles of the state and, hence it is almost impossible for students from other states to get admission. TANCET 2018 (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) is the state level entrance examination. Through this exam, candidates can get admission into the government and non-government colleges of Tamil Nadu state. This entrance exam will be managed by the Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Tips:
Work on your plan and identify your weakness and strength. Get a materiel right. Try to plan and identify above stated things within a week. Set your plan agile and keep buffer time for revision and solving mock test papers. Start with your verbal and quantitative practice in parallel. 3 months can make or change the game, time management is very important at every single point of time till the final day and even on the day. Keep positive! Solve questions in a specified time frame this will help you in doing questions in time. Maintain a good balance between your accuracy and solving time. Be focused and calm. For the last month keep all the formulas and tricks handy and revise on a daily basis. Remember not to be emotional while solving or appearing for exam. Manage your time wisely. Be devoted, dedicated and determined to whatever you do.

Your cut-off marks should be higher to get a seat as the admission is not based on the overall scores. If you have a cut-off of 190 and above, then you can get a seat.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is a state level examination, conducted by Anna University for admissions to M.Tech/ M.Arch/ M.Plan/ ME/MBA and MCA, in different colleges in Tamil Nadu. The exam is usually conducted in the month of June every year. The Government of Tamil Nadu has authorized Anna University for conducting the exam on behalf of the Government. The online registration for TANCET commonly begins in between March and April. TANCET application forms are accepted in online mode only.
