TNEA is no entrance exam. In Tamilnadu admissions to engineering are based on marks obtained in 12th. Then one applies to TNEA which makes a merit list and then seats are allotted. Hi, Unfortunately Tamil Nadu follows Nativity rule quite rigorously. If you have domicile of Tamil Nadu then you can definitely apply. The cutoff marks vary with institutions. If you aim for top colleges Anna university like, WCC, Ethiraj, MCC, DG Vaishnav, Stella Maris, You might probably have 92+ cutoff.
