Hi Sangeeth,Annamalai University is UGC approved. It is also approved by Ministry of HRD. It is also listed in WES, but sorry to say it's not approved by DEB, but it doesn't matter, because it has HRD approved which is from very few universities. Eligibility for admission:-
A pass in the graduate degree examination under the 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern with main subject in Part III, namely Tamil (B.A., B.Lit), English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Environmental Science, Micro-Biology, History and Geography.
Admission will be made after written entrance examination.
In accordance with NCTE norms, regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary and higher secondary schools in Tamil Nadu, recognised by State / Central government, with a minimum of two years teaching experience are only eligible.

Candidates should have undergone 10+2+3 (15) or 11+1+3 (15) pattern of study and passed qualifying examinations conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education/Exam and UG Degree Exam of the UGC Recognized Universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the Directorate of School Education at the Secondary/ Higher Secondary Educational Level.
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of the marks secured in the qualifying UG/PG Degree Exam. Candidates will be called for counselling in the order of their rank. Based on the rank and rule of reservations, allotment will be made. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the qualifying degree examination and interview conducted by the university.

So, as you are not working on Tamil Nadu State you are not eligible for this course.

Yes, you can do distance B.Ed from Annamalai University.
