No, Assam University does not allow direct admission to MBA courses. To be eligible for admission to all management courses offered by Assam University, candidates must qualify for their Class 12 with a 60% score from a recognised board and must achieve 55% in bachelor's degree. After qualifying for this basic eligibility criteria candidates must have secured valid/competitive scores in the CAT/ XAT/ CUET PG/ CMAT entrance examination. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to GD and PI. Furthermore, candidates must submit documents on which they completed the Bachelor’s degree and other academic & personal details.

Yes, Assam University follows seat reservations for MBA courses as the university is a public university, so it follows reservations as per the rules sanctioned by the government of India. Yes, Assam University does offer internships to its MBA students. Even, students need to go to the compulsory Summer Internship as assigned by the department. All MBA students, after their second end-semester examination is over and before the commencement of the third semester in the second year, will have to compulsorily undergo a summer internship of preferably eight weeks duration.
