To get a seat in any of the MBA specialisations offered by the university, candidates have to follow these steps: Visit theAssam University's official website to review the MBA programmes offered and choose the one that aligns with the candidate's interests and career goals.Ensure candidates should meet the eligibility requirements for the specific MBA programme, usually, the eligibility criteria contain, at least 60% aggregate in Class 12 and 55% in Bachelor's degree. Fill out the application form with the details the university asked for. Submit the documents that are necessary to check the candidates eligibility criteria, domicile and other relevant proofs, such as e-mail address, Class 10 & 12 mark sheet, graduadtion marksheet, passport size photographs, etc. Pay the application fee. This can usually be done online. Attach the scorecards of accepted entrance examination with the important details. The university will review applications and shortlist candidates based on their academic performance and entrance examination scores. Follow up on the status of the application.

No, Assam University does not allow direct admission to MBA courses. To be eligible for admission to all management courses offered by Assam University, candidates must qualify for their Class 12 with a 60% score from a recognised board and must achieve 55% in bachelor's degree. After qualifying for this basic eligibility criteria candidates must have secured valid/competitive scores in the CAT/ XAT/ CUET PG/ CMAT entrance examination. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to GD and PI. Furthermore, candidates must submit documents on which they completed the Bachelor’s degree and other academic & personal details.
