Actually, the internal exams just adds a 40 marks to your final results. But it's more important than your semesters as you can easily score in those internal exams by which you can boost your CGPA easily. The staff will say that 20/50 is a pass mark but actually 14 mark itself means you are pass, but taking mark above 30 is not a difficult task.Just make sure that you have your marks in both internal exams as a double digit number as failing to obtain a certain score in internal exams leads to fail in the results even you have scored well in your end semester exams. But keep in mind that none of the engineering aspiring student should have a thought of failing.

Hostel fee varies for various studnets and also depends on the type of room that you choose. There will be a seperate hostel for men and women. If you choose a non AC room then the fee will be around 75000 per person and also it reduces as the person in a single room increases. If two persons occupy a single room then the fee will be around 100000.It will be a better option to choose a room with 4 students. If you choose AC room then the normal fee per annum will be around 100000 and if only 2 persons are using a single room then it will be 1.5L per person for a year, actually it's quite expensive so if you find a better place outside the college then go for it .

Actually, this is a great question which most of the new joiners were not aware of.Actually in B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology internal exam is called as CAT (Continuous Assessment Test). There will be 2 CAT exams in each semester from which 40 marks are calculated at the final CGPA process. To get a pass in a subject you need a average of 40 marks combining both CAT exams. So if you miss a CAT exam due to some valid reasons you can write that exam by paying 300 per subject. For this you must get a substitute form from the COE (Controller of examinations), then you must get the signature from the department HOD and particular subject staff. You must provide a valid reason for not attending the CAT on time failing which cause the rejection of your request.

In Urapakkam there were 5 to 6 PG's with wi-fi, AC and food facilities but the rent is too high. KPS women's hostel is situated near the college. PG's are available in Tambaram from where you need to travel 20 minutes to reach the college. By analyzing those scenarios we can conclude that those who prefer to study their graduate in crescent can chose to stay in the college hostel which provides good facilities and costs lesser than other PG's
