The university shortlist candidates for BCA course based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate can apply for the BCA course. After completion of the selection rounds, the shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants must pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the university. The total course fee for BCA ranges between INR 2.40 Lacs and INR 2.90 lakh. The fee varies as per the specialisation. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled.

Review of Babu Banarasi Das University.
Placements: I would rate it 3 stars because of this course. So our placements will be done in the year 2024, although the placements in BCA are good. The top recruiting companies are Paytm, Byjus, Asian Paints, TCS, and Capgmini. Almost 30% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are airy and big, and the seats are average. Wi-Fi is there but it is of no use, the laboratories are decent enough, and the library is good. But students have to walk a lot to go there, if students are in this university, then they have to walk 300 meters, and 7 floors are there in the new building, so the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative, well qualified, and helpful. They are good and they have vast knowledge about the course and make students to learn all the things that are required to work in a company. If students want to learn then they are always there to teach, no matter what time or place it is.
Other: I had always some passion in cybersecurity, like I watched in many movies like hacking, and hackers, it is good, so when I went to take admission and they said that the fee is Rs 10,000 extra for that course, so I took it. The specialisation can be made more specific like students study EVS in semester 1 and human values in semester 2 as extra subjects, and some other subjects can be placed.

BBD College Review (BCA - CS)
Placements: Placements are offered to 3rd-year students based on their skills. The average package after completing graduation is 4 LPA to 6 LPA. Offered jobs may include analytical roles, company work, etc. I'm a 2nd-year student, so I do not have proper knowledge about the placements and companies.
Infrastructure: There is a separate department named the School of Computer Applications (SOCA). There are separate classrooms divided for each batch and many computer labs for coding purposes. There is also a lift facility for students and teachers. Classrooms have smart boards, and there is a central library too.
Faculty: We get different teachers each semester; some are IBM faculty and some are from the University itself. They are well qualified as they come after clearing panel interviews. The curriculum is good for academic purposes, but for industry-ready skills, it needs improvement. Semester exams are not very difficult to pass if students are regular. A minimum of 33% is required for passing.
Other: This is a specialization course in Cyber Security in collaboration with IBM. The course covers emerging technologies in today's world and cybersecurity, which is enhancing day by day and needs to be focused on. The curriculum can be improved so that students can better prepare for placements. Many events and fests are organized, including DJ nights, Star Night, etc.
