The NTA's CUET-UG entrance test is usually used to determine admission to Banaras Hindu University's (BHU) music programs, including the Bachelor of Music (B.Mus). Applications are typically processed prior to the start of the July session because admissions schedules frequently coincide with the academic calendar. Seat availability would determine admissions in June, and announcements for the particular school year will determine the precise timetable.

Banaras Hindu University, popularly known as BHU, does not honor CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) scores for admission into its undergraduate law programs, for instance, BA LLB. Admissions into these programs are achieved through an individual entrance test conducted by BHU called the BHU UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test).Yet some law schools in India do accept scores of CLAT, for instance, the NLUs (National Law Universities), which admit students through CLAT. An applicant has to take the BHU UET entry process for getting admission into law programs of BHU.In regard to your qualification, if you fall under the eligibility for appearing in BHU UET (based on the marks obtained in class 12th), then you can apply for the law programme once the admission application window opens. In general, the eligibility criteria for BHU UET usually include:A minimum of 50% marks in class 12th. To be underage for law programs like BA LLB, candidates need to be under 22 years of age as on 1st July of the academic year; class 12th (65%) and class 10th (73%) should basically be the minimum eligibility you would be able to apply, but always check the official BHU UET notification for the specific year's eligibility criteria. For your drop year, as long as you satisfy the academic qualification, writing the CLAT will still be advantageous because it will also allow you to apply to other NLUs. This time though, you will want to focus your efforts on the BHU UET entrance exam for getting admission into BHU.

For the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biology at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the CUET 2024 expected cutoff falls between 77% and 87% based on recent trends. The cutoff for the Biology group, including related courses like Zoology and Botany, generally requires scoring between 475-530 marks out of 600.The university's B.Sc. program is competitive, and the number of applicants continues to increase, which can impact cutoff scores slightly each year. If you're aiming for this program, it's essential to target a strong score in your CUET exam, ideally in the upper range, to maximize your chances of securing admission.Additionally, the fees for the program are relatively affordable, with a mix of semester fees, library charges, and modest caution money. Financial aid may be available for eligible students. It's a good idea to stay updated with official BHU admission notifications and cutoffs to align your expectations accordingly.
