It varies according to the difficulty level of entrance papers. But normally, for unreserved category it is above 250, for OBC around 200

IIT Kanpur is better than IIT BHU according to ranking but all iits are best in their own, depends upon the branch you got in IIT BHU I. e. you have two option let assume textile in Kanpur and ECE in IIT bhu then afcourse IIT bhu ECE is better

The cut-off for Non-BHU general candidates is 210 and for BHU general candidates it's 199. For Non-BHU OBC and BHU OBC, it's 188 and 153 respectively. The lowest cut-off went for SC candidates from BHU which is 105.
