Yes, some colleges accept high school certificate for Diploma studies. For instance Hotel Management Diploma needs only 10th pass certificate from an recognised board. You can still apply for DTT with your 10th based certificate in the choice

The safest score for BHU should be 450+ and for UP government colleges, it should be approximately 400. It is the same for all state students. So you can try to get admission in BHU. Good luck.
