{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Is B.E./B.Tech at Bangalore Institute of Technology a good choice? Based on the reviews from students and alumni, here's what stands out:Placement Performance: While the college has seen fluctuations in placements due to economic factors, overall, it has a strong reputation for placing students. According to students, the highest package offered was around 58 LPA, with the average package ranging from 4-10 LPA. Companies like Cisco, Google, Microsoft, and others have recruited from the college.Facilities and Infrastructure: Reviews indicate mixed feelings about the college infrastructure. While some appreciate the availability of Wi-Fi in certain areas and well-equipped labs, others feel that the classroom spaces are dated and the hostel facilities are inadequate.Teaching Quality: Feedback suggests that teachers are generally helpful and knowledgeable, providing guidance and support. However, some students mention that not all professors are equally effective, and the course curriculum could benefit from updates to align with industry requirements.Campus Life: Unfortunately, students comment on the lack of emphasis on sports and extracurricular activities. The college hosts a biennial fest called Manthan, which is popular among students.Autonomy: With the college gaining autonomy, students look forward to changes in the curriculum and examinations to better prepare them for the industry.Recommendation: Based on these findings, it appears that B.E./B.Tech at Bangalore Institute of Technology is a viable option for students interested in pursuing a degree in computer Science engineering. While the college faces challenges in certain areas, its strengths in placements and faculty support outweigh some of its limitations. However, prospective students should weigh their expectations carefully against the realities on the ground. Here's a summary of the key points in bullet form:* Placement performance: Strong, with packages ranging from 4-10 LPA and companies like Cisco, Google, and Microsoft recruiting from the college.* Facilities and infrastructure: Mixed views, with some appreciating Wi-Fi and lab facilities, while others criticize dated classrooms and inadequate hostels.* Teaching quality: Generally helpful and knowledgeable professors, but inconsistent effectiveness across faculty members.* Campus life: Limited emphasis on sports and extracurricular activities, except for the biennial fest Manthan.* Autonomy: Anticipated positive impact on curriculum and examinations with the college gaining autonomy.

In EEE, you have to deal with a lot of electrical circuits. For that, you should have a interest in these electricity and electronics part like whatever you studied in Current electricity, Semiconductors etc in class 12.Tese chapters don’t exactly define about EEE but they are somewhat similar. So if you don’t have some specific interest then don’t take these core branches, instead of that you should take Computer Science or Information Science in some lower colleges. Now coming to colleges, placements are not that much bigger in these colleges. Everything is equivalent after coming to these colleges.Having ideas about other colleges, but DSCE is good.
