Candidates whose parents’ annual income is less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lacs and students irrespective of Caste/ Community/ Religion, (2A, 3A, 3B and others) who have studied for a period of 7 academic years (commencing from Class 1. up to the qualifying examination either continuously or in broken period) and whose parents’ annual income is less than or equal to INR 44,500 are eligible to claim the Post Metric Scholarship/Food & accommodation/reimbursement of Tuition, Laboratory, Library, Sports and Examination fees from the Backward Classes Welfare Department as per the norms of Government of Karnataka.
