This scholarship is of Rs. 500/- each per month for 10 months for each year, to each Department of Bangalore University, Bangalore. BPL as defined by Government orders from Government of Karnataka. Application forms to be procured from Director of Student Welfare Office and should be forwarded by the head of the Department enclosing relevant income certificate and BPL card signed by the concerned Government authority. Students coming under payment category, Self financing course and those who are admitted for second PG Course are not eligible for this Scholarship, an Affidavit to be enclosed declaring that they are not Double PG and not coming under payment category, Self Financing course and those who are admitted for second PG Course are not eligible for this Scholarship. Students who have claimed any other scholarships are not only eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship is administered by the University.

A pass in bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 50% aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST candidates) is required to apply for the MBA course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.
