Of course, there are a number of scholarships provided by Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya to enable students to continue their pursuit of academic study. Other scholarships include the University Research Scholarship that awards 18,000 rupees to PhD scholars every month for two years and 20,000 rupees to eligible doctoral scholars of the third year. It grants 8,000 rupees to meritorious students as a merit-cum-means scholarship valid up to four years. Also, the ICAR-SRF scholarship for Ph.D. is available which will be ranging between 15,000 to 17,500 per month considering the year of study. Such schemes try to open access and facilities for the students studying agriculture.

Eligibility:- Applicants must have passed 10+2 examination (or equivalent) in Physics Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects. - At least 50% aggregate marks are required in this subject (40% for SC/ST/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).- Candidates must be 17 years of age as on 31st December2. Entrance Test:- Admission to the B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) programme is based on performance in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). Candidates have to participate in WBJEE counseling process for allotment of seats.3.Reservations:- Reserved seats for foreign students who qualify through ICAR UG AIEEA entrance test.4.
