Hi, I have heard of people getting exempted from the application process if they belonged to Defence or Freedom Fighter Quota. I am also from the Defence quota and one of my seniors got an exemption after writing an application to the Secretary, Directorate of Technical Education. B. Arch at LPU is a good choice based on my own personal experience. The faculty is very experienced and highly educated. In the program, innovative teaching practices are adopted. One such practice is called Experiential learning week which is organized every semester in which students are taken to nearby historic and construction sites and are given live case studies to do. In design studios, the professors encourage students to take challenging and practical design problems. There is a rich culture of internships for final year students who go for very challenging and top placements nationally as well as internationally through department. The department is actively working to arrange internships by making a cluster of architectural and consultant firms with them.
