{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Is B.E./B.Tech at Bikaner Technical University worth the investment? After reviewing various statements from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:Pros:* Good faculty: Most faculty members are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful.* Industry-focused curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant, preparing students for industry requirements.* Decent placement record: Above 60% of students get placed, with a mix of local and national companies visiting the campus.* Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, including Wi-Fi-enabled areas, modern labs, and a well-stocked library.* Extracurricular activities: Regular events, fests, and sports competitions are organized to promote overall development.Cons:* Placement difficulties: Placements may be challenging for certain departments, such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil.* Limited internship opportunities: While most students secure internships, the options might be limited compared to other universities.* Teaching quality varies: Some faculty members are good, while others lack subject knowledge or teaching skills.* Outdated syllabus: The course curriculum may not be updated regularly, leading to a disconnect between theoretical and practical knowledge.* Poor hostel conditions: The hostel facilities, including food and living quarters, require improvement. Conclusion:While Bikaner Technical University has its strengths, including good faculty and industry-focused curriculum, it faces challenges related to placement difficulties, limited internship opportunities, and varying teaching quality. However, considering the competitive landscape of technical institutions in India, BTECH at Bikaner Technical University remains a viable option for students seeking a solid foundation in engineering. With careful planning, resource allocation, and academic preparation, students can still benefit from their educational journey.

Tier 1 schools are well researched, academically challenging for their students who are from a diverse background, and they poss high innovation and creativity and scholarship. The next are tier 2 colleges. These are the colleges where the competition is high, but not as extreme as in Tier 1 colleges .The Bikaner Technical University falls under the category of a tier 3 college .These are the recently opened colleges, most of them do not have the facilities that are found in Tier 1 and Tier 2 colleges in engineering. Tier 3 colleges are other colleges, which can be considered as less popular and prestigious or not as academically quality as Tier 1 and Tier 2 colleges.
