Pursuing B.Tech at BIT Mesra Jaipur is competitive due to its rigorous admission process based on JEE Main scores. The programme offers a solid academic foundation, but it can be challenging due to the technical nature of the coursework. Students need to be dedicated and proactive to manage the curriculum effectively. The campus provides good faculty support and extracurricular opportunities, though it may not have the same extensive resources as the main campus in Mesra. Placements are decent, but securing top roles often requires self-preparation and participation in internships.

A score of 386 in MAT is not enough to qualify for admission to the BIT Mesra MBA program. The admissions are done considering valid scores from entrance tests such as MAT, group discussion performance, and personal interview performance. Historically, a cut-off score of more than 400 to 500 is competitive for BIT Mesra. Therefore, though a score of 386 may be considered, it is probably too low for a strong application. For a better chance of getting admitted, candidates may take the MAT again to get a higher score or look for other colleges with lower cutoffs. Checking the latest cutoff announcements will make things clearer.

Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), including its main campus in Mesra, is considered relatively expensive compared to public institutions in India. Tuition fees for undergraduate programs like B.Tech range from 2 to 3.5 Lacs per year, while postgraduate courses ltypically cost 2.5 to 3 Lacs annually. Additionally, students must pay hostel fees, ranging from 40,000 to 70,000 per semester, along with other charges for development, examinations, and facilities.Being a private institution, the fees are higher than government-funded universities such as IITs or NITs but lower than premium private universities like Ashoka or Shiv Nadar. The institute provides scholarships for academically excellent and economically weaker students, reducing the financial burden for eligible candidates. While expensive, BIT's quality education, modern infrastructure, and strong placement opportunities make it a popular choice for students seeking a comprehensive academic experience.
