It is a very good college for students to build career.
Placements: Many students from different regions get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 15 LPA, the average salary package is 9 LPA to 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our course are Amazon, Flipkart, Byjus, and many more. Around 85% to 90% of students get internships in our course in computer-related companies. Top roles offered in our course are businessman, professor, assistant professor, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college are very good. Students get Wi-Fi access and a password after they register for their course. Classrooms have projectors and two entrances. It has a very renowned library in Asia and attains a good position among top libraries. The hostel has all the facilities like 24X7 electricity and pure drinking water. The food served in the mess is delicious. There is a different menu every day. Medical facility is available 24 hours with an ambulance. Two big grounds are available for the relaxation of students.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are good and well-known. They clear the doubts of the students and give their best to teach them. Chamber consultation hour is provided twice a week for every subject where students can clear their doubts with teachers. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum makes students industry ready for the upcoming challenges. Exams are difficult as they want to test the skills of the students. The pass percentage is 14%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about our course is that it is not much difficult and is easy to score good grades. Our college organises many events for students including sports, studies, and health.

It is an excellent alternative above IITs.
Placements: Almost every student gets placed here. The highest international salary package offered is 1.33 crores per annum, and the domestic highest salary package offered is 45 LPA. The average salary package offered is 29 LPA. There was a major increase in the companies providing PPO, and it is 13%. Some top recruiting companies like DE Shaw, Microsoft, Apple, Google, Walmart, ServiceNow, etc., visit the college for placements. Around 500 students got internships in the summer internship placement drive of 2022.
Infrastructure: The college is well built with good labs and research facilities. Wi-Fi is available everywhere inside the campus. The library here is one of the best in India. Rooms are not air-conditioned, but they are spacious. Sports facilities are great with separate fields for basketball, cricket, football, tennis, etc. It has a well-equipped gym and a full-size Olympic swimming pool.
Faculty: Many teachers are very helpful and qualified. They have done master's and PhD from various top institutions of the world. The course curriculum is flexible, and it has been adopted from MIT. We can choose our own professors with time to make a desirable timetable. It also has the flexibility of choosing desired courses apart from the main course.

A brief review of BITS Pilani.
Placements: The colleges earn their name by the placements, and placements are an important factor in the fame of our college. For my stream, generally, people opt for higher studies. Hence on-campus placements were okay. Almost everyone who opted for on-campus placement got a job. Not all of them made it to core companies, most of them made it to IT or consultancy, with the highest averaging around 20 LPA for last 5 years. The lowest remains around 7 LPA and an overall average remains around 12 LPA. There are a bunch of internships available. There is a compulsory internship known as practice school. Almost every company is listed in the available centres, and you name it, you'll find it. There is an option to add a company of your interest too. The only catch here is that you'll have to clear a CGPA (above 8) cutoff to get a good one. All this is taken care by a placement unit, which is generally unbiased. The stipend never crossed Rs. 50,000. Overall, every engineering college is facing recession nowadays. We just face it less.
Infrastructure: The campus and hostels are Wi-Fi enabled and are not the best if you are looking for internet speeds. As the campus is really old, the classrooms have an old look, but given the renovations are going on, they are getting better. The new academic buildings are great. The library is a fresh construction, filled with big racks of books (both academic and others). The facility is famous for its labs and equipment. With a personal hand on experience with the labs, I can tell that they are just awesome. The mess is much better than any other place I've ever been to, serves quality food. Hostels are being renovated too, and the new rooms are beautiful, with both single and double rooms available to choose from.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and are trained well at MIT, USA before they start. There is a mix of traits found among the faculty members, helping, not so helpful, angry, cheerful, etc., but all of them are well qualified. All classrooms are digital, and professors generally use slides and videos as study material with an old school blackboard for further insights. Every student is presented with a faculty mentor at the beginning, which ensures personal lookout for the students. Since internships are a part of the curriculum, enough exposure is provided to the students. Also, with various clubs and departments pitching companies to set up their workshops on campus helped a lot.
Other: The events here are grand. The cultural fest is the second largest in the country. The campus is big enough, avoiding crowding and pollution. The only flaw is the isolated location of the college. The connectivity is less. The university provides various scholarships on the basis of the students' merit and need.

Other: In cities, it’s cool to have a big car and be good looking. Here it’s cool to have startups, followers on Quora and money in bank accounts. We do this for fun. We have deep rooted culture in our co curricular activities. BITS is famous for personality development. We run 4-5 major festivals, including the very famous Oasis, our cultural festival. All these festivals are completely run by students! From getting sponsorship, to publicity, websites, controls during the festival etc. everything is done by student teams. We have dedicated departments which have well defined specific roles in each festival. So if you have a hobby, you can join one of these departments, be part of a huge organizing team and learn so much while you are still in college. The best part, you get to do this 4 times over, each year your responsibilities increase! Every year we have people achieving milestones in every field. This year, we had the only girl to get 100 percentile in CAT in the past 15 years. I got placed for Rs. 18 lakhs per annum in a non coding job. I am a five pointer. I think that says a lot about the quality of placements in BITS. Right now, what BITS lacks in infrastructure, it makes up in campus placements. But the campus is currently being renovated completely and in the coming few years we will state-of-art infrastructure. We already have a new academic block which can make private colleges who boast about their infrastructure feel bad.
