As a class 12th board topper, you do not need to participate in the BITSAT counselling process. BITS Pilani offers direct admission to all first rank holders in their respective board examinations, provided they meet the following criteria:You must have scored a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects in your class 12th examination.You must have secured at least 60% marks in each of the PCM/PCB subjects in your class 12th exam.To get the direct admission, you need to register online at the BITS Pilani admission website from May 15 to June 15, 2024. You will need to submit documentary proof of being the board topper along with your class 12 mark sheet.

BITS Pilani offers two types of scholarships: the Merit Scholarship and the Merit cum Need Scholarship. The Merit Scholarship is based on the student's CGPA, with the top 10 students per batch receiving a 100% tuition fee waiver and the next 10 receiving a 40% waiver. For the Merit cum Need Scholarship, eligibility is based on the student's CGPA and their parents' annual income being less than INR 10 LPA.
