The placement records of Engineering graduates at both BITS Pilani and VIT University are good. 109 recruiters visited the BITS Pilani campus during Placements 2023, including Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Visa, Adobe, and Cisco. There was a maximum salary of 60.75 LPA, and an average salary of 30.37 LPA. In contrast, VIT has a placement cell that helps students find internships and jobs. During 2021, Microsoft offered the highest salary package of INR 44 LPA. B.Tech students received an average salary package of INR 6.07 LPA compared to INR 6.39 LPA offered to PG students. Both BITS Pilani and VIT University have a successful track record of placing engineering graduates in international jobs. In the IT, Consulting, Finance, and Engineering sectors, students from both universities have landed placements at reputable multinational companies. As a result, both are fierce competitors.

Personally I feel that people are wasting their time comparing the two institutes. Both are some of the best institutes in india right now and both are giving the top iits a run for their money. I am not saying that getting into ju or bits is easy (to get into bits pilani CSE you need to get 380+ marks out of 450 which is really tough. And to get into ju CSE you have to get a position in the top 100 amongst almost 1.5 Lacs candidates. ). And many students in these colleges have a decent rank in JEE adv and can get into an IIT, but they consider their stream over a just a brand.
