Really great and opportunity here are amazing. first semester placements are quite good. You have companies like Intel, Qualcomm, Broadcom, SanDisk, Nvidia, Cisco etc. showing up on campus. There are about 15-20 core companies that visit on campus in the first semester for placements. Things were a bit different in the first semester 2013-14 placements. There were good companies on campus but quite distributed over the semester. So, most students, even with good CGPA got placed quite late. But, in the end there were about 10-12 good companies on campus (lesser than normal). But to sum up, first semester provides you with quite a number of opportunities to get placed in core companies (and with good, decent packages).

Amazing faculty, infrastructure, campus life, comfortable accommodation, food, and placement facilities make TIET worth it. Last year, almost 80 - 85% of students got placed with good packages in big companies like KPMG, IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. Since the faculty there have a strong corporate network, Internships provided to the students are quite good. It has a dedicated training and placement cell that makes sure that every student gets an internship. Admissions for the new batch are open now. Yes, you can get the admission. The GATE score above 600 is very good enough for BITS Pilani for M.E. Mechanical and M.E. Design Engineering.
