BITS Pilani vs NIT. I think the comparison is between two well known, well talented and academically excellent institutions. I think both of these are at the same level. Many a times NIT's get a bad name just because they are government owned institutions, while BIT gets a good press. My personal opinion is that in many aspects NIT's are much better than BIT. However if you are getting admission in any of the campuses of BIT then you should not hesitate to accept. Best wishes to you.

For pursuing M.Tech in BITS Pilani you must clear BITS HD test. BITS is an Institute which takes own test for B.Tech and M.Tech both.

(ii) For admission to B.Pharma. : Candidates should have passed the class 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and adequate proficiency in English. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy programme. Admission to all the programmes is subject to the conditions given below:The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT subjects in class 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects. Only Students who are appearing for class 12th examination in 2019 or who have passed class 12th Examination in 2018 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2019 test.
