Central university of Karnataka is simply referred as cuk has large campus.campus is really good and vast. 650 acres campus with open air gyms for both boys and girls .Summer is really horrible here and in normal days also it is really difficult to bear the noon here . Evenings are the best at cuk.coming to studies, some departments like physics, psychology, geography, economics are really good, others are also having quite good faculties, but all depends on you. you have to study by your own . If you are interested then teachers are also interested if not they are not . About placements I have no idea.Central library is quite good and is provided with variety of books . But library is a bit small.Hostels are good with 2,3,4 members per room varying on the size of room (For girls). And now hostels are also being provided inside the campus itself . For boys it may be a bit difficult and have to adjust but for girls now there plenty of room s . Coming to campus timings girls are only allowed till 9:00 pm to roam outside but for boys there is no restriction like that. After 7:00 pm it is not safer to get out of University but inside campus it is quite safe . Food is good but not very good . I am mentioning about the food facilities at girls hostel B block. you will be given with one constant thing that is sambhar in both lunch and dinner . your breakfast will be really good and dinner is the thing which you enjoy the most .
