In terms of placements, the University has maintained a decent track record. The official placement report or brochure is yet to be released. As per the data gathered from the NIRF report 2024, 156 out of 818 PG (2-year) graduates were placed in 2023. Earlier, 234 out of 803 students were placed in the 2022 drive. Further, the median package offered in 2023 was INR 3.26 LPA, which was almost 32% less in comparison to 2022. The Central University of Kerala offers an MBA course, and the cutoff for admission is based on the CUET UG exam. For the academic year 2022, the expected minimum cutoff percentile for general category students is 30, while for OBC and SC categories, it is 10. For ST, EWS, and PWD categories, the expected cutoff percentile is 20, 50, and 45, respectively. The cutoff for the MBA course in 2021 was 34 percentile for general category students, 15 percentile for OBC, 13 percentile for SC, 21 percentile for ST, 48 percentile for EWS, and 58 percentile for PWD. The cutoff for the MBA course in 2023 is yet to be announced.

The MSc placements at the Central University of Kerala seem to be promising. Most of the students got placed with very good salary packages, and the university has a distinct placement cell that offers placements and internship opportunities to students. The median package offered to PG (2-year) students during the 2022 placements was INR 4.80 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The placement statistics for the academic years show a good number of students placed and a decent median salary offered. The university also conducts job fairs and trains and grooms students for their professional careers.

Earlier, the median package offered in 2022 was INR 4.80 LPA. Looking at the past three years' records (2021 to 2023), a fluctuating trend was observed in the median package of PG (2-year) courses.
