Comprehensive review of facilities, curriculum, and faculty support at Chandigarh University .
Placements: CU requires students to join TPP course for placement eligibility, with most visiting companies focusing on IT or marketing specific companies for the biotech streams are fewer, internships are mentor guided, graduates can pursue in pharma, food teach, lab Sciences and research.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure at CU are impressive. The classrooms are air conditioned, labs are fully equipped, and Wi-Fi is available though the coverage can be limited. The library offers extensive source, including e-libraries, hostels provide quality food, medical care, and recreational facilities, CU also supports athletes with some students reaching Olympic level success .
Faculty: The teachers at CU are highly qualified, with Ph.D. S and extensive experience. The teaching quality is strong, though students can have their personal preference for respective teachers, the course curriculum is highly relevant preparing students for both industry and research pathways. The semester exams are moderate challenging.

The Chandigarh University experience: An inside respective.
Placements: 25% of students were placed in my course, where the highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. 50% of students got internships from my course at different companies and institutions like IIT, DRDO, and many more organizations. The top role offered in my course is lab assistant.
Infrastructure: The labs are designed in such a way that you can find all the instruments needed in the current industry. The university has multiple libraries: one for your department and another as a central library. The hostel is quite good as it provides a better environment for studying and maintains hygiene. The food is also good in taste and healthy.
Faculty: Yeah, the teachers are helpful and well-qualified. The MIM qualifications for teachers include a Ph.D., and each teacher has relevant experience in their field. The course curriculum is also very relevant as it is continuously updated according to industry needs and demands. The semester exams in the college are quite normal; if you study well, they will be easy.
Other: I chose this course in 2020. The best thing about my course is the research; if you have an interest in research, it's the best course for you. Everything is really good, as CU continuously organizes events, and there is a positive crowd. The college also focuses more on extracurricular activities.

The infrastructure is great and lovely faculty and good campus life
Placements: In terms of placements the college put a lot of efforts and prepared us to be more workaholic. It helped our seniors and us being prepared for the work in companies. The college groomed their students to be able to work in the companies from the very start. Giving them interships and workshops so all the students can actually know where to apply the knowledge they are learning
Infrastructure: The classes are great and courses have well planned structure for the whole degree so you get a experience of everything in your degree and extra as well. The campus overall is great with good facilities and a most of the classes being air conditioned and just overall a great experience
Faculty: Facilities are very friendly and great. They help you in every possible way and the teaching method is great as well. Their are total 3 exams 2 mid semester and 1 end semester other than that practical are carried out every week or two and some other assigments are given as well

Chandigarh University- From my POV.
Placements: Here, placements and the opportunity for internships are high. The average package in my course is 5 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are IMTECH, Serum institute, Bharat Biotech, etc. On average, 70 percent of students got placements. The placement cell is supportive and clears up difficult situations.
Infrastructure: The hostels are inside the campus so its easy to get to the lecture building. The Wi-Fi in hostels works great. Classrooms and libraries have AC so its not that hot in the summer. The library has almost all the books related to courses and also novels. The campus is also fun.
Faculty: The faculty is very nice. They are Ph.D. holders. Curriculum is according to UGC and the management provides all sorts of information about curriculum. The semester exam is not that difficult; you just have to be dedicated during exams. Internals matter the most here.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in this field since I was in 12th grade, and I found it here. The best part of my course is the faculty. They give knowledge about technologies and books as well.

The infrastructure for the most part is very good.
Placements: Not many students were placed from my branch last year. Mostly IT companies come for placement instead of core companies but in our field, most of the students go for higher studies. Getting an internship is not that hard; you just need to have a good network. One of our seniors is even doing her internship at PGI Chandigarh Hospital.
Infrastructure: Our current classes are going on in block C3 and the level of infrastructure there is very bad. When I first came to this university, I remember being so sweaty because most of the classrooms have no AC and apart from that, our college classrooms look like school classrooms. Now coming on to hostels, if you are comfortable traveling 1 hour daily in buses, then thick city hostels 1 and 2 because they come with attached washrooms; otherwise, pick Zakir because nc hostels are really bad.
Faculty: The majority of our faculty are really nice but there are some bad apples here and there because they cannot complete there syllabus in time. Also, be prepared for math if you are joining this course because it gets pretty hard after some time. Our course is not that difficult but there are tons and tons of subjects, which makes it really long.
