It has its own department of training and placements where the student's skills are honed to an extent that they emote their concepts in a smooth, guided, and confident way in order to gain the best placements in the required field. LPU has been awarded the National Employability award for best placements by Aspiring Minds. Some of the companies which have picked students for this stream are MIQ Digital India. As LPU alumni, I would suggest that LPU is best for BBA and MBA courses. LPU flagship MBA courses. LPU also offer BBA/MBA integrated course, I know about this because my cousin had taken BBA/MBA course at LPU and based on his experience, I can give a little review about this. LPU is known for its MBA. Mittal School of Business is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation. Companies like Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Adani Wilmar, Altruist, Al-Rakha, Dharam Consultancy selected LPU students for International locations. The highest package availed is 16.6 LPA by Khimji Ramdas. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average of 5-12 LPA packages. Every year visiting companies escalate in number and till date University has recorded the highest placements in North India.

Dear Sameeksha, I don't know the hotel management programme details of Chandigarh University but can share the same about LPU. I am an alumnus of LPU and completed my MBA programme there. One of my friend's brother is also studying there in Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology BHMCT )
Let me share few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU :
Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges. University-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchen and bakery are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gazettes. We have few training restaurants to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. We are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation.
