LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Besides, other record-breaking placements for LPU includes:
the highest Placement (Engineering) Rs. 42 Lacs per annum (Microsoft)
the highest Placement (Management) Rs. 21 Lacs per annum (SOBHA Developers)

Amazon recruited LPU students on a package of 28 LPA

Though both the universities are good in academics but being an alumni of LPU let me share the details. LPU School of Design II covers two domains; Department of Interior - Furniture design & Department of Product - Industrial Design. Of course! Both the above institutes are fair enough! But I would like to share some insights about LPU. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help, they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. Dear Raju, I am not aware of the Automobile Engineering programme at Chitkara University, but being alumni of LPU, I can provide details of this programme at LPU with you. My friend did B.Tech in Auto engineering at LPU. LPU provides numerous opportunities in all the terms like Live projects and internships from companies that add experience in automobile engineering graduates. Annually, a number of championships and competitions, such as Go Kart, racing, Robowar are organized by the university to provide students with a platform for innovation and development. Moreover, Mechanical engineering students designed a futuristic Formula One Racing Car at SAEINDIA 2017 Noida. I was completely flabbergasted by the designs of cars, robots, and new inventions done by them.
