With 56% in 12th you have a good chance of getting an admission into Chandigarh University only if you start your admission process as soon as possible.

Dear Anisha,
Both the universities are better in their own ways.
Both have their pros and cons.
Chandigarh University:
Some good things about this university:
1. Excellent infrastructure and most important it is growing day by day.
2. Good and supportive faculty.
3. Well-equipped labs.
4. Hostel facility is very good, you don't have to worry about anything except food a little.
5. Placement oriented guidance.
6. Easy reach to the higher authority of the university.
7. No ragging.
I have never seen a single ragging case in my first year, seniors are very supportive.
8. Students from all over the India even foreign country study here.
Here are the few cons, not bad but need improvement:
1. Open playground for cricket and football is not in a very good condition as most of the time it is equipped for some events (New ground is almost constructed so no longer an issue with that).
2. Sometimes focus too much on assignments and lab file work instead of practical knowledge. Although written work is also important, it can be improved.
Apart from this no other issue with the university, CU is really good and a place where you want to spend few years of life and remember those years as best years of your life.
The university is approved by UGC, AICTE and other necessary councils then it comes to Banasthali Vidyapeeth.
You can get take part in as many activities you want and believe me, they do have a lot to offer including aviation and horse riding. Basically, once you start exploring, you'll have lot in your plate. But the biggest setback would be, you not getting enough exposure to the real world. They sort of provide everything to you inside the campus and do not let you go out. So, believe me, if you have lived in a metropolitan like Delhi since childhood like I have, you'll have a very hard time adjusting to the environment and people once you get comfortable with your surroundings, it'll be a fun experience.
Thanks and I hope it may help.
