For MSc Mathematics, a substantial number of scholarships will be available, consisting of a full waiver of the tuition fees. The number of scholarships will be roughly equal to the number of students admitted in recent batches of M.Sc maths.
Feel free for your further doubts.
Good luck.

If you have good score in academics then I think you don't have to drop a year, you will get admission in that directly.

Hi Priyadarshan,
You can go for B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics. Eligibility- 45% aggregate of four subjects PCME with 50% in Mathematics. No entrance exam is there. Admission is strictly on merit basis. However, most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
Colleges that you can consider-
Andhra University
Allahabad University
Banaras Hindu University
University of Rajasthan
University of Pune
University of Mumbai
University of Mysore
You can refine the search as per your preference and shortlist the ones for which you meet the qualifying criteria.
As for choosing the best, you can consider parameters such as Faculty, Course Material, Quality Education, Fees, Accreditation, Infrastructure and Success Rate.
Hope this information helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.
