It's one of the best private universities in North. Placements are good. The average package during this year (2018-19) was around 7-12 LPA. It all depends on your skills. I would suggest you if you are not getting any govt. college then you can opt for Chitkara.

Definitely, there is no comparison between JMIT and Chitkara University. Chitkara University is way far better than JMIT. The exposure you get in Chitkara University is very good and studying in JMIT will not fetch you good package and even the crowd of JMIT is not good! It all depends on how good are your skills. As you also know there is a lot of crowd in computer science department in every engineering college also if you are studying from a reputed college your placement would easy as compared to one studying in a less reputed college. If you want a good internship you should be good at your communication skills and should have a good knowledge about your field.
